For more than 40 years Antioch University has stood out as unique because we give students ​​the reins in designing their own education. Unlike traditional programs, we believe in empowering students to take control of their learning journey. In the Individualized Studies programs, students actively shape their academic path by having the freedom to design their degree plans and courses, while continuing to live and work in their home communities. The Individualized Studies programs offer qualified students a unique opportunity to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Humanities or Social Sciences or pursue a Certificate in Transdisciplinary Studies or Professional Studies through an individualized, online program.
 
We provide an environment that values self-directed learning. This means students can tailor their coursework to address specific issues or align with their personal and professional interests.
