EDT-5840: Human DevelopmentThis course will cover the basis of child development from birth to adulthood. We will explore growth patterns and nodal points of physiological and psychological changes as described by Rudolph Steiner. We will strive to awaken through this study an appreciation for the why, the what, the when and the how of the Waldorf approach to teaching, coming to the realization that when the teacher is grounded in these principles, his/her own artistic/creative involvement becomes the active therapeutic agent behind this Waldorf methodology.
