This, paired with fragmented and opaque insurance systems, has created a massive demand for Healthcare Administrators who understand the nuances of the industry. This major prepares students with skills in being effective leaders and administrators in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare organizations. It is best suited for those with an allied health background, such as nursing, respiratory care, physical therapy, occupational therapy, dental hygiene, and medical laboratory technology.
