The program is intended for individuals who seek a basic understanding of how to best support and work with children affected by trauma.

This certificate requires three 3-semester-credit classes that are offered in 15-week sessions. It is intended for classroom teachers, school administrators, school counselors, school psychologists, and other associated school personnel who will come in contact with children affected by trauma. It is also appropriate for members of the larger community who interact with these children and their families. It is offered at the graduate level and is completely online.
