Program Overview
The MA in Couple & Family Therapy degree has an Art Therapy specialization combined with Couple and Family Therapy (CFT). You receive comprehensive clinical training, making it one of the few degree programs in the U.S. featuring art therapy with a clinical focus. The CFT/AT program is part of the CFT MA program and offers an additional specialization in Art Therapy alongside COAMFTE accreditation. Students receive comprehensive clinical training, making it one of the few degree programs in the U.S. that features art therapy with a strong clinical focus.
The program takes approximately 2.5 years to complete and has two 8-day in-person intensives at the Antioch University Seattle campus; the remaining classes are a combination of synchronous (zoom class meetings) and asynchronous (recorded lectures, small group activities, written discussions, and various experiential activities).
