DMT-6210: Dance/Movement Therapy & Systemic Approaches to Addictions TreatmentThis course will provide a basic foundation of the etiology, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of substance abuse and addictions through bio-psycho-social and systems models of theory and practice. Emphasis will be given to the stages of change, embodied and systemic approaches, and the personal, social, and cultural attitudes and stereotypes that are often associated with substance abuse and addictive disorders.
