ATR-6520: Thesis II

This course is the second phase of the thesis sequence, focusing on the implementation of the research study. Students will carry out their approved research projects, collect and analyze data, and begin drafting their thesis. The course emphasizes ethical research practices, data management, and the application of health informatics to support research outcomes. Key areas of focus include: Execution of the approved research study, including data collection and analysis. Continued use of health informatics tools for data management, analysis, and interpretation. Adherence to ethical guidelines for research, including participant privacy, data security, and research integrity. Application of medical classification systems and terminology to support data analysis. Ongoing collaboration with the thesis committee for feedback and guidance. Advocacy for social justice within the athletic training profession through evidence-based research. By the end of this course, students will have completed data collection and initial analysis, preparing them to finalize their findings and thesis in Thesis III.
