COUN-7245: Quantitative Research DesignThis course expands students’ knowledge of research design and methodology with an emphasis on quantitative and mixed methods approaches. Students will develop research questions, hypotheses, and plans suited to these methods while exploring key components such as sampling models, data analysis techniques, and instrument design. The course provides opportunities to critically examine means-comparison, correlational, and mixed-methods analyses, helping students distinguish between methodologies and evaluate the strengths and limitations of published empirical studies. Emphasis is placed on ethical, inclusive, and advocacy-informed research practices in counselor education. Min.
