COUN-7315: Andragogy and Culturally Responsive Teaching

This course provides an introduction to andragogy, adult learning theories, and effective teaching methods and styles for counselor educators. Students will explore culturally sustaining strategies within counselor education, considering how these approaches influence diverse learning environments. Additionally, the course addresses legal and ethical issues, as well as the roles and responsibilities of counselor educators, helping students understand their professional duties and responsibilities in educating future counselors.
