COUN-7505: Transformative Community Engagement & Leadership Practices

This course focuses on the application of ethical, culturally sustaining, and socially just leadership strategies through transformative community engagement in various settings. Students critically examine leadership and advocacy models that respond to systemic inequities and support underserved populations. Through immersive community engagement and guided feedback, students will evaluate their leadership practices, refine their advocacy approaches, and develop practical strategies that reflect the counselor educator’s role in advancing justice within both local and global communities.
