COUN-6030: Group CounselingThis course is designed to help students gain a solid theoretical and practical knowledge of group dynamics, group development, and group leadership styles. Students will begin to observe and understand group process on a variety of levels. The course will give students the opportunity to practice group facilitation and will prepare them to work in various types of groups, with a focus on therapeutic process groups. The course will include presentations, discussions, practice and experiential learning in a group culture. CMHC Residency is a week long face to face experiential component that supplements the course if taken online. Min.
