COUN-5220: Human Development in the Family Life CycleThis course will engage students in understanding the basic developmental tasks of children, youth, and adults throughout the lifespan, as well as how these tasks impact, and are impacted by, the developmental cycle of the family of origin and the family of choice. The course will present opportunities to analyze how individual and family development are affected by significant events, as well as interpersonal, interactional, and cultural factors. Min.
