COUN-5231: Human Growth and Development Across the LifespanPresents current theories and perspectives about lifespan development. Within an interdisciplinary perspective, students explore the psychological, physical, interpersonal, and societal issues related to identity (e.g., gender, ethnicity, race, religion, and sex) growth and development across the lifespan in Western cultures and beyond. Considerations for counseling individuals, couples, families, and groups are addressed as well as multicultural and social justice issues related to lifespan development. Min.
