EDUC-6230: Non-Profit Management for EducatorsThe end goal of this course is to design and deliver a regional multicultural environmental education conference that addresses the intersection of social justice and environmental leadership. The first half of the course focuses on the management of non-profit organizations, providing skills in goal-setting, action planning, staff and stakeholder management, fundraising, recruitment and retention, impact and assessment. All of these skills are applied in the organization and implementation of a conference that involves local experts who are intimately involved in the work of multi-cultural environmental education.
