CFT-6000: CFT Identity, Law and EthicsThis course focuses on professional orientation and ethical practice in couple and family therapy. Students will be introduced to the CFT profession through the examination of licensure and credentialing standards, and professional organizations. Additionally, students will understand ethical practice using the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy’s Code of Ethics. Legal issues in CFT and the role of advocacy and social justice as they apply to ethics and the law will be understood. Min.
