CFT-6002: DMT/CFT Identity, Law, and EthicsThis course will focus on professional orientation and ethical practice in marriage and family therapy. Students will be introduced to the MFT profession through the examination of licensure and credentialing standards, and professional organizations. Additionally, students will understand ethical practice using the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy’s Code of Ethics. Legal issues in MFT and the role of advocacy and social justice as they apply to ethics and the law will be understood. Min.
