CFT-6480: Introduction to Couples Therapy: Dyadic And Expanded Partnerships

This course will introduce students to a range of models for working with romantic relationships, with a focus on empirically validated therapies. Students will be introduced to theoretical foundations, diagnosis and assessment practices, and treatment planning for clinical work with couples and expanded partnerships, as well as research on romantic partner dynamics and power. Students will also have the opportunity to explore current issues in couple therapy.
