CFT-5150: Family Violence and Larger Systems

This course will provide a foundation for understanding family violence in the context of larger systems from an ecological and gender-inclusive perspective. Students will learn to recognize environmental and familial risk factors, and contemporary evidence-based approaches to assessment, treatment planning, and intervention. Students will learn about incorporating community resources and collaborative partnerships with larger systems in clinical practice.
