PSYC-4022: Attachment & Attunement

Students in this course will explore the foundations and evolution of attachment theory from John Bowlby and Mary Ainsworth and review current theoretical contributions and perspectives on attachment and attunement including infant observation studies, lifespan research, research on adverse childhood experiences and neuroscience as well as the impact of attachment on psychological health and trauma, relationships, family and other systems and somatic experience.
