Program Overview

The Master of Science in Allied Health with a concentration in Healthcare Administration (MSAH) is designed for individuals who aspire to become transformative leaders in the healthcare sector, committed to advancing equity, ethical practice, and community well-being. This program combines rigorous training in healthcare management, policy, and research with an emphasis on social determinants of health, health equity, and advocacy for vulnerable populations.

Grounded in the values of compassion, service, and justice, the curriculum prepares graduates to address systemic disparities in healthcare access and outcomes. Students learn to implement data-driven strategies, lead mission-driven organizations, and influence policy from a framework of ethical responsibility and cultural humility.

Through experiential learning opportunities, and case studies, students gain practical skills in organizational leadership, policy development, and inclusive health systems design. Graduates are prepared to take on leadership roles in hospitals, public health agencies, nonprofit organizations, and policy institutions, where they can drive meaningful change at both the local and national levels.

Licensure: There is no national licensure required in this program.

  • Meet the evidence of capacity for graduate study:
    • A cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale for all undergraduate coursework
