To earn this M.Ed. degree in Foundations of Education, students must successfully complete a minimum of 32 credits distributed as follows: Theoretical & Philosophical Foundations of Education - 9 Semester Credits
Curriculum & Instruction - 11 Semester Credits
Educational & Social Policy - 4 Semester Credits
Plus required Waldorf Workshops - 0 semester credits
Master’s Project - 4 Semester Credits
Teaching Internship or Practicum and Professional Seminar - 4 semester credits
Complete one of the following options for 4 semester credits: Public Waldorf School Specialization
If pursuing the Public Waldorf School specialization choose one of the following: ED-6975: Public Waldorf Internship (take 3 semester credits): Twelve weeks of supervised teaching in an approved Waldorf public or charter elementary school in the classroom of an approved Waldorf teacher. OR ED-6935: Public Waldorf Practicum (take 3 semester credits): Twelve weeks of supervised teaching in an approved Waldorf public or charter elementary school. AND ED-6970: Professional Practice Seminar (take 1 semester credit) |
