Spirituality in Clinical Practice: Medicine andPsychology is an international course offered byAULA MAP (Master of Arts of Psychology Program)with the objectives of: introducing students toclinical practice according to atransdisciplinary approach in outpatienthealthcare, with the integration of Medicine,Psychology, and Spirituality at Pineal MindInstituto de Sade; and fosteringself-development as global citizens. This coursewill focus on clinical cases of dissociativemental disorders that were unresponsive orpresented poor prognosis from traditional medicaland mental health treatment approaches. Thiscourse encompasses classroom lectures, clinicallearning, field study, and intensiveintercultural exchange with patients andtreatment team members from diversesocio-economic, human diversity, ethnic,cultural, spiritual, and religious backgrounds.
